Just wanted to share some of the strange occurrences in my life in that last couple weeks.

Positive: Didn’t get shot by this old lady I was doing a structural inspection for. She had dementia and forgot we were in her house. When we got down from the attic she was pointing a revolver at us saying that we needed to leave immediately.

Positive: August didn’t swallow the small nail he randomly found in our new house. We left him alone for 2 minutes and when we saw him again he was sucking on something. We’re lucky he wasn’t hungrier when he found it haha.

Negative: One of the structural home inspections I went to on Thursday was this poor family who had a severe pipe burst in their crawl space. It ended up making their entire floor cave in on itself. Luckily no one fell through or anything. I’m liking the diversity of my job!
